Scramble Format Rules

This outing is played in a scramble format. Each player in the foursome hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. Each golfer then plays from that spot. The person who’s shot was not taken picks up their ball and moves it to within one club length of the selected spot.

Once the spot is selected, all golfers then play a shot from that spot, and again pick which one they like better. This continues until the hole is finished.

A couple important rules to note:

  1. Players are allowed to place their ball within one club length of the selected spot (no closer to the hole).
  2. Players cannot change which cut of grass their ball is in (i.e. you cannot place your ball in the fairway if your marker is in the rough).
Contests & the Contest Card

We are always striving for the right balance of fun and fundraising. One feature we’ve leaned into with that in mind is the contest card. With purchase of a $20 contest card at the registration table, you gain access to compete in the following contest and the prizes that come to the winners.

  • Longest Drive
  • Closest to the Pin
  • Hole in one
  • Watering Hole
  • Closest to the Cooler
